Thanks for starting this blog Karen! And may I say you are an inspiration to those of us out here who wish we could look like you! :)

So how many months do I have to give up Oreos to have that body?

Dear IluvOreos, thank you for your kind words. Oreos can still be a part, albeit a small part, of your life. The key is to treat yourself once or twice a week and stick to a good, healthy nutritional plan the rest of the week. That gives you something to look forward to! Good Luck!

Karen,
I'm working on 5+ meals a day to boost my metabolism. I'm still not losing the weight I thought I might by now. What could be the problem? What should be my priority?
Thanks!

Dear FirePig, you may be more successful than you realize, if you've been consistent with weight training. the scale only shows one aspect of your change; if you've been gaining lean mass at the same rate that you're losing bodyfat, your weight may stay the same while there may be significant changes in your body composition. If you'd like another pinch test, please contact me and i'll be happy to meet you somewhere to determine exactly where you are. Then we'll have a better idea of what's going on with your body. My suggestion is to ask a significant other (would that be firehog) if they notice changes in your physique and note how your clothes are fitting; that will give you an idea of whether you're heading in the right direction or not. Good luck!

Hi Karen

I am confused about how the total percent of body fat lost for a team is calculated at the end.
